Summary:
The Parts Sales Associate has an essential position within the company. This position works with customers and the Service Department to ensure accurate parts are ordered to meet the customer’s needs and to keep their machines operating. This position is a key position in ensuring customer retainment and growing company sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to answer phone calls from customers and service technicians and provide exemplary customer service and accurate information of parts needed.
- Answer phone calls from customers and work with them to determine the parts they are looking to order. Take the parts order over the phone and enter the order into the system as a new customer order. While maintaining exemplary customer service and accuracy.
- Issue purchase orders and place orders with vendors for customer orders that the parts are not currently in warehouse inventory.
- Knowledge of working with vendor and parts manuals to look up the correct part and part number for customers or service technicians.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Locate and pull parts in the warehouse, box and ship them out to customers or service technicians.
- Ability to lift to 50lbs.
- Possess computer proficiency skills.
- Work with an expanded team from our other locations and maintain professionalism.
- Knowledge of inventory management of a company with multiple inventory locations.
- Work directly with the service department, internal and external customers to achieve a long-lasting relationship.
- Maintain effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Customer Service and parts experience.
- Previous Customer Service experience helpful.
- Adobe Professional.
- Customer/Salesman Focus.
- Communication Proficiency.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint is beneficial but not required.
